1. The Poembeggars broke up after a few arguments... Very sad, I know.
2. I had a 3 month fling with a girl called Daisy.
3. I finished my first internship at the university of Utrecht
4. I tried starting a new band with Rick. Didn't work...
5. Started writing a kids musical with Maarten. Quite a lot of fun.
6. Found a new band which is just starting up. Gonna be a lot of fun, I'm sure.
7. Most importantly: I have a very sweet girlfriend now. We've been together for 4 months now and this is the first time in 5 or so years that I've been really in love.

Still no internet... I'm surprised I'm still alive. Didn't think I would last that long without a connection to the outside world. Not much happened the last two weeks. Today was a good day. Woke up with a bit of a hangover and have been lazy all day as a result. I passed one of my 4 exams, don't know the grades of the other 3 yet, so, so far so good. The situation with the girl is... still complicated, but I sent her one last email asking if I couldn't change her mind somehow. We'll see where that leads, probably nowhere, but the least I can do is try.
As for the music, we didn't have a gig tonight, but it was still a good night, musically speaking, wrote lyrics for 2 songs and music for one of those. Both songs are rather depressing, though. Those are always my best.
Oh, and the cable repair people are gonna come and repair our phoneline next thursday, so hopefully I'll have my internet restored then. I'm getting a bit tired of having to go to school during weeks to check my email.

Life is... good. It's so good even my mom said I was extraordinarely happy when I came home tonight. I'm all dancy and bouncy and jumpy and... happy! Wanna know why? I bet you do.
Remember the girl from italian class who wouldn't return my emails? Turns out she'd just had a serious operation on her arm and wasn't really in a state to go out. On wednesday I received an email from her, saying she was feeling better and that she'd like to go out sometime. So we agreed to meet this afternoon, and we did. Haven't had this much fun in ages. I'd say there definitely was some sort of spark... I can't wait to hook up with her again, teehee.
As for my exams.. I think I passed two out of three... the third one I probably didn't pass but eh.. I'm happy, not gonna have exams ruin that. Haven't gotten my grades yet, so anything could happen.

It made me realize just how fucking lonely I am most of the time. The girl from italian kinda stopped returning my e-mails, so I can probably forget about that.
And that's the two reasons I'm grumpy. Everytime I think things start looking up life cuts off my legs landing me smack bam on my face. Ugh. I hate days like this one. |

Now, it's not a big disaster or anything, but what does scare me is the fact that this proves that my self-esteem is nowhere near where it should be. Blah. I have cooked up a cunning plan to figure out her email-address though, but that doesn't get me anywhere in terms of self-esteem.

Waiting waiting waiting... seems that's all that happens in my life right now. Okay I'm bored as hell since rehearsal isn't starting for an hour. Blah...
Today was.. not good, nor bad. I arrived a tad late at school... about 10 minutes... Not a big deal though, I didn't miss anything vital. Not much happened though, as it's now time to prepare for exams. They're about 2 and a half week from now and I wanna be prepared. No way I'm letting myself fail more exams, that's just not an option.
News on the band, well, there's no news yet, as I haven't rehearsed yet... I might have some more news tonight, though. Oh yeah and the photo shoot is close too. I packed my bags full of all sorts of clothes just in case they need me to be prepared. Last time we had a photoshoot I brought only one set of clothes and well... it was odd seeing the others change lots when I couldn't.
And also, naturally, I'm nervous about wednesday. How am I gonna ask her out and how is she gonna respond? Aaaaaah! *runs around in circles screaming*
